Thanks, I almost want to email that seller the link to the Neo Geo cabs so he knows it's a conversion. I assume that they have all of the Neo Geo cabs listed on there.

You could tell him that you changed your mind and no longer want it. Then send an email the next day from a different email account/different user offering a lower bid.

I already emailed and said $300 would be the most I would pay now that I know it's a conversion. Marspants offered him $350 for it already anyway so I don't think I'm gonna be getting it.

Cheer up! There are much better, real cabs available. Post a want ad on neo-geo.com and the KLOV board.

keep looking - you're bound to find an original MVS machine for around 300-400.
