A great controller for 2600 joystick games. Someone please stop me, I keep buying. I now have five of these beauties.

One of the videogame stores I go to occasionally gives the customer two controllers when you buy a 2600 there: a 2600 controller, and a Genesis controller. The owner says use the 2600 one once, for novelty, then use the Genesis controller after that, because the 2600 controllers are so easily broken, worn out, etc. He only includes them at all for the novelty of having one.

I just bought one at the Swap Meet less then a week ago! Posted HERE with Namco TV Games Volume One. The first one was missing the back cover and the primary fire button was temperamental. I modded it so both A and B button functions are now controlled by the primary large button. Pole Position became a "Pop the Clutch" to shift gears.

The second one is perfect and now I have a back cover for a template. Any easy cut out a DVD case to trace from. Both buttons work great with satisfying clicks. Two Pole Positions, one with a clutch and one with an Automatic Clutch Shift. :D
I used to have one of those. Got it back in 2005 or 6, and it set me back $20. It was great fun till I got bored of all the games. Did yours come with the orange and black cartridges that add 5 or so extra games, like Pacman and Dig-Dug?

No, I think the one you had was the Ms Pacman Game Key model.

I also have Namco Volume One which has Pacman, Dig Dug, Galaxian, Rally X and Bosconion. I am also looking for the 12 game Jaks unit. It does not have Ms Pacman or Rally X, but completes the games from the other sets. Also Bosconion gets the 8 direction fix in this one. I have all these on Mame and various consoles, but the OCD in me wants to get this!

Recently went by my pawn shop, when I noticed GoldenEye: 007 for 10$. in terrific condition too(I think they clean all of their stuff). Most of their N64 games, all sports with Body Harvest thrown in also, are 6$ each. There are a handful that are slightly higher, like goldeneye here. I bought Ready To Rumble Boxing 2(don't know or wanna know if that's a good deal), almost got a wrestling title, becasue I heard 64 was good for those, but there were like, 9 different wrestling games, didn't know which to get.
Current Consoles: SNES, GBC, Game Cube, Nintendo DSL, Wii, N64, PS2

It's been a really slow week. I haven't found squat :( Now my MOM on the other hand surprised me last weekend by buying me two games at a local thrift store:

Virtua Fighter 4 (PS2) complete
Toy Story 2 (N64) complete
Both for less than $5

She brings them to me and says, "I don't know if you have these but they were 60% off. The disk for this one doesn't look like it has a scratch and it still has its manual, and the box and manual for this one's sort of beat up, but the little metal things inside look clean and It's In A Box! That's good, right?"

I've taught her well

Fallout 2 - $1 via Opshop (Thrift)
GTA Vice City (PC, Complete with Map,etc) - $1 via Opshop (Thrift)
Diablo II Expansion - $1 via Opshop (Thrift)
Spyro: A New Begging - $2 via Kmart

I have not played a Spryo game since the PS1 games, so for $2 I couldn't say no.

This is my third current copy of Vice City, but the PC version is the only one I find playable today as the PS2/Xbox versions dont allow you to aim with the right control stick.

WWF No Mercy. All the rest of them, even the good ones, were just leading up to that. If you aren't a wrestling fan though, you probably shouldn't bother.

THIS WEEK~!

Thrift Store:
Scooby Doo: Classic Creep Capers (N64): $2.00 (not something I was particularly interested in but I have a hard time resisting any game that isn't sports or game show for $2 or less)
Homer Simpsons talking pen: $0.50 (it's cool)
GameCube microphone: $0.25 (always search through those bins of random cords)

Pawn Shoppery:
$3.00 or 4 for $10.00 = $2.50 each (this totally works on me, I always end up buying extra games I have little to no interest in to save that additional $0.50 per game.)
Halo 2 (XBOX - complete)
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee (XBOX - no manual)
Pokemon Colosseum (GC - complete)
Harvest Moon: Magical Melody (GC - complete)
Battalion Wars (GC - no manual)
Odama (GC - no manual)
F-Zero GX (GC - complete)
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GC - complete)
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose (SNES)
Mario's Early Years: Fun With Letters (SNES)
Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: Eye of the Beholder (SNES)
Breath of Fire II (SNES)

:(

Even though I often find good stuff for cheap, I still feel jealous at FallOut 2 for $1.00...
