Looking for more in a very specific niche of movies

Post by Gooseberrysoda »

In the same vein as "Cube" "Exam" or "Nine Dead". A bunch of strangers (Trapped/locked in a space) have to work together to either benefit themselves or escape a potentially dangerous situation. You know what I mean?
Sega Genesis (Model 2), Sega CD, Sega 32X, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Game Boy Family, Phillips CD-i Model 910, NES, Atari 5200, Virtual Boy, Atari Jaguar, Playstations 3-4

... Saw.

But I know you knew that. Nine Dead was pretty good for a b-movie, some pretty bad acting, but I still liked it.

I can't recommend Hausu enough.

A masterpiece from start to finish; one of the craziest films I've ever seen. Easily in my top 5 of all time.

Also, you can't go wrong with the original Night of the Demons.

That film is amazing, although it's not that weird compared to something like The Holy Mountain or Inland Empire. BTW Get it on Blu-Ray, the Criterion transfer is fantastic.

You're speaking my language (Holy Mountain is one of my favorite films of all time). Perhaps I'll have to check out the mentioned film.

House or Inland Empire? By the way... both are the equivalent to filming a movie, editing it and then dropping acid, LSD and cocaine on the film. They are really weird.
