PSN is back!
Re: PSN is back!
for wipeout, i would also recommend playing in first person. normally i can't stand racers in first person, but with wipeout it can be helpful. also, this doesn't have to do with playing better but, i would recommend using the use your own music option. the normal soundtrack is awesome for sure, but it's really awesome to be able to play to your own favorite jams.

I like how the tv shows a different genesis game being played on it every day. That's pretty cool. I saw Comix Zone on there, Streets of Rage 2, Sonic and Golden AxeSwooshBear wrote:Played Dead Nation today. The aiming controls are a bit difficult but I'll get used to it. I also got a free Sega Genesis theme that is really awesome. You guys should go check it out!
Dead Nation seems to be the best of the PS 3 games I got. Infamous has kind of lost my interest with it's been there, done that gameplay and very unrealistic NPC characters and LittleBigPlanet has really awkward jumping mechanics that I don't like. It just feels all wrong. Dead Nation is a good, solid, old school action game though and gets the mood, look and feel of a zombie movie really well

Really? I only saw Sonic on the Tv. I tried to see what the cases on the desk were but I could only make out Altered Beast and Sonic...Gamerforlife wrote:I like how the tv shows a different genesis game being played on it every day. Re: PSN is back!
Just keep checking, it's not a static theme. The background changes, very cool. It takes a lot for me to get rid of my Batman:Arkham Asylum theme but this Sega one is very coolSwooshBear wrote:Really? I only saw Sonic on the Tv. Re: PSN is back!
So, I'm curious. Does anyone here think the free games made the month of no PSN worth it?
For me it was. I only really used PSN for occasional matches of CoD4. Now I also use it for occasional matches of Wipeout HD. More than a fair trade-off I would say. Also, Dead Nation is OK.

Re: PSN is back!
I think it was. I got to catch up on some older games with no PSN to distract me. I've been wanting to try out Imfamous for awhile and now I got it for free. I do agree and say that Dead Nation is pretty good. I wouldn't have known about it if PSN didn't go out.MrEco wrote:So, I'm curious.
