That opening was fantastic.

Did you play 2? Seems rare to see fans, I think because the first game was really kind of a generic GTA knockoff, had some bad controls, etc... but they really improved everything with 2 and I'd say it founds its own identity and the amount of depth to the game was San Andreas level stuff. I am seriously pretty excited for 3.

It's the same with me. The only problem I've ever had with mine is the doors over the GCN ports not closing as tightly as they should.MrHealthy wrote:I have a launch wii and I don't even have a dead fan. The only problematic nintendo hardware I have ever had is the DS lite's hinge cracking. And a few of my gamecube controllers are just now starting to wear out, but thats expected.pepharytheworm wrote: Maybe its just luck but I bought a Wii on launch day and it still plays fine. I had only one problem which is quite common with the launch version the fan died. I bought an after market fan for 5 bucks and haven't had a problem yet.

Yeah Xeogred, I picked up Saint's Row 2 from a Movie Gallery that was going out of business over a year ago. I had a lot of fun times playing that game.
Re: E3 2011
Nice! I rarely see anyone that's witnessed the greatness of that one, haha. 3 sounds like they're going in exactly the direction I want them too. Can't wait, and I'm excited to see how the new engine is. Glad it's a new city finally too!Ack wrote:Yeah Xeogred, I picked up Saint's Row 2 from a Movie Gallery that was going out of business over a year ago. I had a lot of fun times playing that game.

Even Yahtzee loved Saints Row 2, and he hates everything.

Did they give it a physical release? I have not spotted it in stores.lisalover1 wrote:I'm more interested in the supposed port of BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 to the Vita. I feel kind of gypped, though, since I just bought the 3DS version.Bradtemple87 wrote:Street Fighter X Tekken Gameplay mmmmmmm

Re: E3 2011
I finally saw the E3 presentation of Sly Cooper 4. They were showing some footage of a boss fight. It looks pretty cool. Here's the footage for anyone who hasn't already seen it. I'm digging new design.
I think I'm GLAD they have new developers because Sucker Punch's Infamous feels very lazy and uninspired and has made me lose faith in them. It's basically a very mediocre third person shooter/sandbox game masquerading as a super hero game and it does very little I haven't seen done better in other games. I'm very disappointed in one of my favorite developers
I just hope Sly Cooper 4 retains the charm in the writing and dialogue as that was a big part of the series' charm for me
