My bro just finished up at E3 (lucky guy). He said he couldn't put Starhawk down (actually he said it's goty). Makes me even more excited to get my hands on it. He got a free shirt and DLC code for Uncharted 3. Says Resistance 3 looks great in 3D. Got to sit in on some MW3 special and really enjoyed what he saw. He actually enjoyed Raccoon City a lot. He played Deus Ex but did not comment on it (not sure what to make of that). He wrapped things up by sending me a picture with him and the storm troopers. I guess his rebel friends fucked him over.

I should hear more about his adventure later.

Yeah, at first I really didn't care for the game. But the more I read about the fighting engine, the more I want to try it out.

More stuff from bro:

I was right, he didn't care for Deus Ex very much. He said it did not control well. He felt unnecessarily forced into a lot of stealth situations (and he's a huge Metal Gear Solid fan). Not sure what he played it on.

He described more of Starhawk. He says it is very intense. His group won the match with about 15 seconds to go. He grabbed a starhawk, flew to enemy base, transformed, killed lots of folks, grabbed flag and high tailed it back to base for the win.

He said Raccoon City's graphics are laughably bad, but the gameplay is very well done. 4 player coop. The game does have multiplayer team vs team battles, but also has a full campaign. He said the controls are tight and everything is very smooth. Surprisingly, the game can get pretty melee heavy. Though you are well equipped, ammo runs out fast (in true RE fashion).

Uncharted 3 demos were multiplayer only. He said it was great, as usual.

Battlefield 3 was invitation only. So was the entire Bethesda/Id booth. He says Id did the same thing last year. Was kind of sore with them over it.

The MW3 booth sounded pretty awesome. He took video. I am trying to convince him to open a youtube account so that he can post it.

He tried Resistance 3 a second time with the 'Move and hated it. A lot.

Final Fantasy XIII - 2 looked cool.

He tried to find some of the smaller titles. Bloodrayne Betrayal was nowhere to be found. Guardian Heroes HD was the same. He is a pretty big fan of old skool games and was kind of upset that they were nowhere to be found. Keep in mind that this was the final day of E3, they may have been packed away.

I'm more interested in the supposed port of BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 to the Vita. I feel kind of gypped, though, since I just bought the 3DS version. :?

Dragons Crown looks intense, even though the fanservice is over the top...

My biggest surprise of this year is Dead Island. Described as Left 4 Dead meets Stalker meets Borderlands. After I heard that it went from moderately interested to SUPER interested.

My two biggest disappointments:
- No date on Battle Block Theater - its TV head game but with more stages and weapons. it even has the same song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CU9u3nE0lw8 . The worst part is that last year they said it was pretty much done, they were just tweaking it.
- No date on Toy Soldiers PC or Toy Soldiers Cold War

I fell in love with this game ever since I saw it's opening cinematic:

If it needs more time in the oven until it's done, I guess I can wait.
