Seriously. I still can't beat the final boss battle. You battle Dracula and Death at the same time. And I can't beat the basement endurance thingie. I've gotten pretty dang far down into it, but I haven't seen the end in site and hit my limit.
Are you sure you're not thinking about Portrait of Ruin? You don't fight Death and Dracula at the same time in Order of Ecclesia.

I finally got around to playing SotN. The voice acting makes my ears bleed.

I've watched that scene four times now. Froze up last time I played, and I still haven't saved yet, so it'll be the fifth time soon. I hate it so much. I'm willing to give it another chance, but between that and the next one with death it's a poor start in a series I love.

That game compilation is amazing.

In the game SwooshBear is talking about you can turn all the voice acting to Japanese. It actually won't give you ulcers like the English voice acting will.

Damn, SotN is just legendary. Good old 'Drac is still making fresh ears bleed over 10 years later.

I recently beat SoTN (thanks to finding a Crissaegrim).

Moving onto Chronicles next and then probably going to nab some GBA and the rest of the DS games.

Xeogred wrote:Haha, I think I consider Circle of Moon's final boss to be the toughest for me... maybe I was very under-leveled, but his second form could kill me in two hits usually and was ridiculously weird and all over. Was insane and lots of trial and error, but definitely one of those satisfying things I was able to conquer.

As for OoE for some reason I specifically remember the Giant Crab boss gave me tons of trouble. Was one of the earlier bosses I think, so maybe it just stands out because of that... lol.
CotM's final fight is actually really easy if you know the pattern. His lasers are easy to jump over, the meteors are easy to dodge, and when he does his charge you just go to the corner and jump when he does (he spawns in front of you) to take no damage.
