that could be it. since we don't have the new characters and new features we cannot play each other.

Yeah, with the fam I usually can't get on until 7ish pacific time, which I guess is 9ish your time, probably just too late for you most days.

ok, i just intalled AE on my SSF4. you are able to switch back to the "original" SSF4 from the options if we can't connect with each other. but from the reviews of AE, we should be able to play each other either way. maybe the person that has the AE have to host the lobby.
