I was thinking of picking up either title for the PS1 and was wondering if anyone could suggest one over the other. Is either one harder to find?
I watched some gameplay of the first one and it looked like a game I could probably get into. I haven't watched anything of the second one but imagine it's probably more refined from the first one.

Ok, here's the deal: Bushido Blade 2 has nearly everything Bushido Blade has, but with more characters to unlock, more weapons, and considerably more locales to fight in. There's also much more in the way of options and alternate game modes.Sideroller wrote:I was thinking of picking up either title for the PS1 and was wondering if anyone could suggest one over the other. Unfortunately one of the most entertaining things that Bushido Blade has that the sequel lacks is the continuous levels, meaning you can literally run from one battlefield to the next. The sequel has considerably more stages, but they don't connect the way Bushido Blade's did.
Overall I'd say go for the sequel.

The second one is better in pretty much every way, but I actually prefer the slower paced combat of the first one. It made it feel more strategic or something.
I think both of them can be found very easily.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll probably pick up the sequel then, and maybe the original if I find for really cheap.
