Playstation Vita thread
Felt we should have one. How many of you are sold on this one? I know I am, even if it is going to be rather pricey. Anyway, post your thoughts on the system or whatever.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
As an owner of a 3DS i think Vita is defnitly gonna be a great portable.
I mean Vita is pretty a ps3 on the go and who wouldnt want that. I mean comon dual stick and ps3 graphics ... thats just well beyond the capability of any other handheld out there.
I will eventually get one when its cheaper , but right now im satisfied with my 3ds and whats in store to come.
Tekken , hell yea !

So is it digital download-only handheld via PSN, or is there going to be some kind of physical media format?

I heard it's going to use cards, sort of like DS. So yes to physical media, but goodbye discs.

Oh good. I was worried that it was download-only. I prefer physical media.

There was no way it was going to be download-only after the way PSP Go flopped here in the US.
Besides, PSN going down for a month would be completely disasterous for a download-only PS system. It would mean game sales would completely halt during that time, whereas physical games can be bought regardless of the state of PSN.

me too. Bottom line, if it had a UMD drive, and could play all my PSP collection that I already have then I'd be saving to buy one right now. But as it doesn't, it's going to take some serious time, persuasion and price-drops before I think about it.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
I'll probably ask for one for Christmas. I am most definitely interested in the handheld, though.
