So I'm confused. Is the Wii U a new console or an add-on for the Wii (Sorta like the Sega 32x)? Because all I saw was controller.

It's a second game screen built into a modern controller for an HD system.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Yes, I bought a DSi for 50 bux and an R4 Card. I don't like playing games where you NEED to use the touch screen though. It didn't have more buttons... It had less than the GameCube controller (the last nintendo thing before DS)

Same here. One of the many reasons why I loved CV Order of Ecclesia so much over Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin.

Ditto on some of the DS bashing. Not that the DS isn't a great system - it really is. But I prefer GBA games over DS games 9 times out of 10 because I just want to push buttons. Not have to awkwardly take my hand away from the machine to pick up a stylus or get thumb smudges all over the display.

I don't like the DS either, the button layout and d-pad cause my fingers actual physical pain after like 30-45 minutes.

I bought a DS solely for the Castlevania games and I do not regret it though.

Never mind that was a stupid question of me to ask. I just looked back a few pages and found the pictures.

It looks like a Wii fell on it's side with a white PSV for a controller.

Kinda does, doesn't it? I don't think this is the final design for the console though. Unless they deliberately made the entire presentation about the controller just for emphasis.

It's awkward as hell but I'm terribly excited about it.

Same here. I like a lot of things about it, but find it very uncomfortable to use for more than 30 mins if I don't set on down to play (on games where that's possible). Hopefully having the extra space so your whole palm is holding the controller will make it much more comfortable.

Hey guys, s1mplehumar(I think that's who posted it) linked a thing on Kotaku with a hands on look at the WiiU controller. You guys should check it out. I'll relink it:

One of the interesting things they discuss is the weight. They say it's actually pretty light.
