Worst Break Up

Post by Luke »

So sure, this thread is a little juvenile, but has huge potential to be hilarious. Share your worst break up stories and how you've moved on to better girls or guys.

Katie Kelly #1 (I dated two girls named Katie Kelly, back to back): For Valentine's Day I bought her two tickets to see Portishead (it was the 90's) at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, flowers, and a complete outfit for the night which included shoes, stockings, a dress, a pair of panties, a bra, earrings and a matching necklace. She was stunning, but also milked me for dinner and a brownie that was at least $15 usd.

In return she bought me the board game Operation. We broke up shortly after that night.

Did you ask her if the gift was a hint that she wanted to play "Doctor"?

I dated a girl for many years and we were pretty certain we were going to get married. But when I moved away for work she went absolutely crazy, so we broke up but got back together three years later. She was on edge then and broke up with me via facebook. So I found out the following morning, called her to ask why, no response. I emailed her and she said that she was just changing her profile from dating me to married to Genghis Khan and that I shouldnt care. She then told me that she was going to tell everyone we knew personal things about me, and went off and caused a rift between my friends that is still there many years later. She told many people things she shouldnt have, and apparently told several of them boldfaced lies. The best five stories I have heard are:
- I was homosexual and only friends with them because I wanted to have sex with them.
- I was a crossdresser who she use to help with outfits.
- I use to beat her.
- I use to bring other women in to judge her against and for threeways (we were not having sex).
- That I broke up with her because she wasnt good enough and that I betrayed her trust

She actually had me in a very bad mental lock. She hurt me deeply and those shackles held me down until about a year ago. I have seen her once since then and she shyed away from me and would not say anything. I now have a really good girlfriend who already threatened that she was going to do everything possible to get said other girl out of my mind and if she ever tried to hurt me mentally again she would make her wish she never came near me. And yes, that one I am keeping.

I can't understand your ex at all, as I just don't get why someone would ever want to hurt someone they love. But it is great to hear you have a keeper. Keep on keeping on with your keeper.

Break-up #2:
Nicki W.

This chick had everything but her own apartment, which ruined it all. She modeled for Bride magazines during college, and although I wouldn't say she "was a model", she did make bank from modeling. Smart, engaging, sexy as hell, and very adventurous. But long distance relationships don't work for me, and she wasn't willing to move without a commitment. We broke up on Valentine's Day (I'm seeing a pattern here) and we both saw it coming. It was almost one of those "Before I have to say what I want to say, is there anything you want to say?" type deals. We broke up, then fooled around, and I had every opportunity to kick her out of my place while she was naked, and although the thought crossed my mind I returned her clothes after our "good bye".

Nicki and I were certainly cut from the same cloth, but looking back I'm glad we broke up. And I would advise all kids who are leaving for college to do the same. Get married or enjoy college, you can't do both in a long distance relationship (I suggest enjoying college).

If that's one of your worst break ups color yourself lucky. That seems like a fairly standard break up, if not a highly favorable and smooth one. Your first one isn't bad either. Try having a physco ex break into your place in the middle of the night after a break up and see how it stacks up to getting Operation for Valentine's Day. Operation is a sweet game anyway.

I was seeing this one girl who got mad because I was still friends with one of my ex-girlfriends. We had an argument about it and she got so mad she cut her own face with an exacto knife and called the cops and told them I did it. When the cops arrived she broke down and told them she did it to 'punish' me. The police cited her for her actions. One of the cops pulled me aside and pretty much told me to run as far away from her as possible. I took his advice. For several years she tried contacting me but I ignored her. Yeah, she was nuts. I wish she gave me a board game instead of a psychotic episode.

I was considering doing so but I didn't think it would be appropriate to go into on these forums.
