I saw it in the theater when it came out. I am not a fan of Kazuaki Kiriya's overuse of green screens (Casshern!), but it was a cute stylish take on legend of Goemon Ishikawa, aka The Japanese Robin Hood. Susumu Terajima is one of my favorite Japanese actors. He is very underrated and usually typecasted as a yakuza. Also, Ryoko Hirosue looked good.
