Re: E3 2011
Not a thrilling show for Micro imho. 75% of the show was Kinect, which I suspected from the beginning. New Tomb Raider looks pretty spiffy (needs less screaming) and Halo remake is a welcome addition. I feel like I'm supposed to defend myself here for placing Halo in a positive light? Anywho, it's fun with friends! I was really hoping to see some Child of Eden footage/gameplay, but I guess it's almost out anyway.

Re: E3 2011
It could be more that the new studio for Halo is planning a trilogy, which could wind up spanning to their next console. Coming out and saying that would probably wind up in rumors about the next console, attempts to date it, etc. Just putting it out there as a continued platform exclusive, not so much.Weekend_Warrior wrote:Well... 6 Halo games on 1 console is kinda bad. Even if 3 or 4 of them are remakes/spin-offs
Call of Duty is getting equally sickening at this point. But the series sells by the truckload. So the demand is obviously there. Guess you can't really blame the developers for giving the fans what they want and making more money in the process.

Kinect Labs looked cool imo, people are making some cool looking tech with kinect, and I was going to play around with it myself once I get it too. Otherwise, nothing excited me. At all.

I'm pretty sure I saw a Halo: Reach assassination in the multiplayer.fastbilly1 wrote:I am excited about the Halo remake. I really hope they dont muck it up.

I care far more about coop than multiplayer. The shots of Silent Cartographer were awesome and I cant wait to squish grunts with my warthog. Multiplayer is just icing.darthmunky wrote:I'm pretty sure I saw a Halo: Reach assassination in the multiplayer.fastbilly1 wrote:I am excited about the Halo remake. When Cliffy B brought Ice-T up to the stage to demo Gears 3... they both had controllers in their hands yet it looked like they were sharing the same tv and only one of them was playing? Anyone else notice this??
If they did that just to remind everybody "Hey, Ice-T is in this game!" Then I think that's kinda lame

Yeah I don't care about the multiplayer at all, it's all about the campaign. Let's pray for no changes in gameplay or weapons/enemy health balancing.fastbilly1 wrote:I care far more about coop than multiplayer. I assume Bungie isn't developing the remake - who is handling it? What's their track record?darthmunky wrote: Yeah I don't care about the multiplayer at all, it's all about the campaign. Let's pray for no changes in gameplay or weapons/enemy health balancing.
