Do you collect anything else other than games?
Do you collect anything else other than games?
Obviously everyone here collects/plays video games but what are some other things you collect? The only other thing I collect is manga, but I'm almost caught up with the current volumes in all my series!

Re: Do you collect anything else other than games?
Honestly, there isn't even enough room for me to collect games the way I do, so I couldn't get away with collecting much else.
I have always been into collecting though. Pokemon cards when I was little, which changed to Magic: The Gathering and all sorts of ctcgs.
I also used to speedcube, so I had over 50 rubik's cubes of different shapes and sizes at one point. I sold a bunch of them recently though, and only have maybe 10 left.

Gaming easily ranks in the top 3, but other collectables include;
Audiophile grade headphones, amps, turntables, vintage stereo equipment, board games, Christian literature, backpacking gear, cycling gear, and hordes of gaming and hi-fi mags.
Truthfully, I'm really trying to cut back on mass collecting of anything now. I'm really feeling convicted about blowing loads of cash to feed my greedy desires when so many other people have needs far greater than mine. *steps off of soapbox*

apparently I collect cars.....talk about expensive.

I tend to like building a library of things - movies/anime, graphic novels, books, CDs to a point, and so on. Not much that'd really be out of the ordinary (to a point). Games are sort of the same for me, they just have the added requirement of consoles to play them on.

I collect figurines/models: mostly 28 or 30mm with the silly belief that one day I will have them all painted and have a game to play them with. And wooden toy trains - Brio mostly.
I use to collect tons of things, but realized that I had to tone it down because I will be moving into a MUCH smaller house in the future.

maybe you should start a trade list of his asinine posts? I feel like you've amassed a huge collection. You might have doubles?dsheinem wrote:I collect asinine message board posts.
