Karous

I'm thinking about buying Karous, I found it at about $70 and was wondering what are peoples opinions on this game? Is it worth the money?

No. Karous was the biggest disappointment of a shmup I've played on the DC. If you have that kind of money to spend on a game go for Radirgy, similar style and much better and far more challenging.

After finally understanding exactly how to play Karous, I found myself really liking it a lot (great soundtrack, neat bosses, etc), but I found that it's pretty easy. It certainly isn't on my to own list. I'm gonna agree with the other guy, and put your money towards a different game, though, this may be one of the cheaper ones...

I agree with the other guys. I was disappointed with the game. It just doesn't really excite me enough. Some people really like it, though.

I paid 70 dollars for DDP DOJ and Under Defeat LE each and they were worth every pennies. I just feel that Karous isn't worth 58 dollars. I want to collect it but will wait for a good deal on a used copy. I might buy it if it were 40 dollars.

really tho, what are us american jackholes going to do with these complete japanese imports? ask our pretend japanese wives to translate the error screen which just said, "Thank you for playing! (Stupid american!"?
