I haven't seen the trailer yet (I try not to watch trailers), but that box art (I'm assuming) is the best box art in years. I'm not sure how I'll like the game since the only Tomb Raider game that I've played and liked was Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

The series would have been dead and buried by now if not for them

Also, there aren't many games that feature the level of quality platform mechanics that Tomb Raider game has. There's Prince of Persia, Assasin's Creed and Uncharted and that's pretty much it

Indiana Jones characters still are marketable. I mean that's all Nathan Drake is and he's popular. Not surprising that Lara Croft still is too

I have to say though, that trailer is pretty weak. The voice actress absolutely sucks and the dialog is cliche and boring

I really think it's about damn time they got Lara an on the field team. There's nothing more to do with her character as far as story goes. She needs an ensemble cast or something, and I don't mean two useless tools who just ramble on into her headset from the comfort of her mansion, but a team of other adventurers. Other characters for players to care about. Time for this diva to start sharing the spotlight

This trailer reminds me of the origin of the Green Arrow
