The upcoming Tomb Raider: Turning Point is a departure from Lara's usual sleek sexy style to something more gritty. She's looks like a tattered survivalist. I like it.

Well that trailer certainly got me interested. It's been a long time since I've been genuinely excited to see a Tomb Raider game.

After all the beatings of bad reviews on previous titles, Laura still survives.

The look is ok, but the video has typical Squeenix bullshit all over it. It plays out like a bad Final Fantasy cutscene. Less of that crap, more gameplay please. The last thing I want to see is Lara Croft Other M'd.

Well, watching that trailer was a waste. That was basically a terrible movie trailer. Not too surprising considering it's being published by Square Enix... I do like the new direction, but that trailer made me want to play the game less. Not that it matters since I don't have any current gen consoles anyway.
