Final Fantasy Tactics when you have to fight Gafgarion and 9 other enemies to your measly 5. His freaking Night Sword move is just brutal.

That and the battle with Wiegraf (this time with Lightening Stab to piss you off). Those are probably the two toughest battles in the game, but then again a lot of the earlier battles are harder it seems.

I know other people who don't like this zone as well. I like it though. I think it was all the fun I had gambling in it.
Casino Night zone from Sonic 2 was the one with the gambling machines. Carnival Night was the awful one with the barrel of doom from Sonic 3.

The worst part of Shadow of the Colossus is that it ends.

That was the one exception. Which isn't suprising, considering Sonic CD's general awesomeness. My least favorite part of the game would be the pinball boss in Zone 2. It's so hard to get out of the pinball area. Horrible design in that section.

Oh yeah, I completely had them backwards there. Yes, the sonic 3 stage was evil. I've said it before but...it took me five years of playing the game off and on to figure out to press up and down on those barrels.

I like that zone now though. I found a ton of the special stage rings in it from all my wanderings. I just rack up the lives and zip around as super sonic now.
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

The Metal Gear Solid 2 water sequences. Not fun at all, controls horribly, and kind of hurts my eyes.

Even as super sonic though those barrels can crush you if you aren't careful.

This was the only stage in any Sonic game I ever died from getting Time Over on the final boss. Rrrrrreally annoying. It's an okay stage, but I feel like it's more of a chore to go through than most of the others.
