Steel Battalion price help.

Post by Xelyx »

I've been interested in Steel Battalion for quite some time now and have finally decided to make the purchase. My questions are:

1. How much should I expect to pay if I want a complete in box copy? From what I've seen in older threads here Ebay is ridiculously overpriced.

2. Can anyone suggest a great place to buy one? Ebay is out and the Craigslist here is terrible.

Thanks for the help.

Ebay is probably your best bet. The other option is to post a WTB (want to buy) in various gaming forums buy/sell/trade section. Steel Battalion is fairly uncommon that I think it will be hard to find outside those places.

I think I'll end up doing that. Thanks.

You can pick them up on Amazon for a somewhat reasonable price. There's one CIB for $294 shipped (a little high, but not too terrible). Without the box you can pick it up for $130 shipped.

Regardless what you get, make sure you get a manual.

I assume you mean the manual for the game? I'd only be interested in complete copies of the games.

Best thing to do is watch eBay for a while. Don't get an overpriced Buy It Now, watch what they tend to close at. Eventually you'll get lucky and get one cheap.

Bought the blue buttoned controller with game last month at my local used retro store for $120.

Not the best price but there is no way I'd pay for a CIB.
