I don't. All I've seen is "you guys talk about MGS too much in an MGS thread" and "MGS is holding Kojima back" (despite the fact that Peace Walker is the last MGS game he's worked on since 4 and he's currently working on an entirely new project.)

I don't think there's a single person here that would argue "Yes I want Kojima to specifically work on MGS and MGS alone until his death". Of course it'd be awesome if he gets his "creative juices" going on other projects... and he has as others have already pointed out, Metal Gear games aren't the only things he's worked on.

Overreacting quite a bit I'd say.

I liked Zone of the Enders 1. Give it a try. Even if you don't like it, it's pretty short so you don't have to suffer too much if you don't like it.

Well, I'll get off the MGS discussion as I'm just annoying people LOL and say that I thought ZOE 1 was a good game, but ZOE 2 just seemed to crank everything up a notch. I never finished ZOE 1, not because it was bad but something else grabbed my interest. ZOE 2 had me captivated right from the get go though and never released its grip on me. It's just epic moment after epic moment. Crap dubbing though, but easy to overlook

Seeing these comments about ZOE2 being better than the first makes me really want to play it. But I still have a sizeable backlog. :(

Yeah the first really isn't that bad of a game and it's short enough for a quick play, the main character was just annoying as hell. Still a good game, but ZOE2 improved on absolutely everything and was epic from the very start.

So definitely check out the first ZOE and give it a shot. But if it doesn't do anything for you, hit up ZOE2 and be ready for epic.

I think I just came in my pants. Can't wait. Let's hope the remakes are better than the travesty that was Twin Snakes.

I think Twin Snakes gets hated on a little too much. I'm not entirely certain why, either.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
