I played the demo and it was not that great. A game like that needs buttons. And online co op. Perfect for XBLA and PSN. (If Konami is reading this HINT HINT) They could do it for Xmen, I'm sure they could do it for The Simpsons.Jrecee wrote:They actually made a remake of the simpsons arcade game for. . . iphone.

Re: Games You Wish Would Get Ports
Once again, the point of this thread would be to explain WHY a game would be better on another platform, not games that you just want re-released.

Ok, well a rerelease of Fur Fighters would be fantastic on any system with dual analog.
Granted, there's the PS2 version, but it doesn't utilize the sticks, for some stupid reason.

Ok they need to port Simpsons Arcade for iphone to Xbox 360.lisalover1 wrote:Once again, the point of this thread would be to explain WHY a game would be better on another platform, not games that you just want re-released.
Also it was disappointing that they never ported dynamite dux to genesis. Only the watered down 1 player version on master system. Its dux, not duc.

Regarding Shining Force III Trilogy.
Also, I don't trust burned games. I've read too many reports of them being hard on the laser and stuff.
You'd think, as a series fan, I'd do anything I could to play them. But I don't know, it just doesn't seem worth the trouble.
And dang it, what's wrong with wanting an official release, huh?
As for why it would be better as a port:
1. I'd love to have all three games (plus unlockable premium disc content) on one disc or download.
2. Upgraded graphics would be nice
3. A DS or 3DS port would be awesome. Top screen would be used for the general map of a battle and switch to the animation during a fight. The touch screen would be used to move characters (or whatever arrangement works best for the 3DS, I've not played one).
Maybe, but I do at least have a copy of the 1st game in english.brunoafh wrote:You're missing out big time.
Yeah, kind of. The Saturn isn't a system that I want to mess with yet (my soldering skills are about nonexistent; meaning to do something about that though). It runs just fine and I want it to stay that way. Plus, I just don't feel the need right now.GSZX1337 wrote:Why? Are you afraid of ruining it or do you not want to play a burned copy of the game?

I think Nintendo missed a huge opportunity with the DS. It has enough power to run every so many awesome PC games that it's almost criminal.
Descent? XCOM? Monkey Island? Quake II? Total Annihilation? Command and Conquer? Civilization? The list is huge!
Having those games on a portable AND being able to play with your friends? Yes, please.

The arcade Point Blank ported to either the Wii or PS3 Move.
The only copies you're going to find of this are on the PS1, which is going to require a lightgun and a new television if you've got anything remotely modern. They can give it a bit of sheen, if they please.

It's also on DS. It's a very different feel but it's fun!Balasubbie wrote:The arcade Point Blank ported to either the Wii or PS3 Move.

Weird pov. I think 99% of us here have held on to our crts for reasons like this. I never thought of a crt as a 'new television'.Balasubbie wrote:The arcade Point Blank ported to either the Wii or PS3 Move.
