Not in the least bit. It takes about 5 minutes from open to close.

I wouldn't say they go for a LOT more... You can buy a pin connector for about 8-10 shipped off eBay. It's just that most people dont realize they're that easy to put in. I've done 15-20, maybe more. They're simple. No special screw driver needed.

i see NES's with no new pin go for about 50, then when one is new they go 70 to 100. Im going to order one and put it in mine.

Wow. About a year and a half ago, NES systems were only going for 20-40. That's why I stopped fixing them and re-selling them on ebay.

It could still be that way, im only going by what i saw on ebay last night.

By the way... You might not need a NEW pin connector. You can actually refurbish the one you have. It takes about 10-15 minutes between bending the pins back and cleaning the system.
