$6.21 after tax at Salvation Army. Both complete.

I probably overpaid on the cricket game (it was $4, TCoMI was $1.75), but I've never seen a PAL game in the wild before and had to pick it up.

If anyone's interested, there's another copy there for the same price.

Hell yeah!

Curse is the bomb! Your copy is not complete though, it should have a box, manual and a bit of paper work.

Did you know that some fans are making a SCUMM inspired remake of Monkey Island 3.

Not quite sure if this counts as a "find" per se, but I just won a Sega Twitter Free Stuff Friday contest for a copy of Shogun 2.

This may be the thing that finally gets me into PC gaming. Wow. Wow. Absolute WOW.
Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

I never knew how much I was spending cause I was buying things like you a few dollars for each and it became habit to want to go to a pawn or thrift everyday cause I would always say to myself I might be missing a big find if I don't go today.
Thanks, but I think I am way past the point of no return. I already have way more games then I will ever conceivably play through. But to be honest, I have nearly as much fun finding and trading as I do playing. Plus, I enjoy just looking at my games on the shelf. They are just so radical! I acquire a lot more things this way than just video games too.

Thrift stores, pawn shops, yard sales. It's practically my lifestyle. I was this way long before I got into video game collecting. I have an entire house furnished with second hand goods (excepting a few appliances and beds). I don't think I could list 20 items in my house that weren't bought second-hand. Some may think being cheap is a personality flaw, but I have pulled myself out of poverty with my frugality. 3 years ago we lived in a one bedroom apartment, goverment subsidized low-income housing, making regular visits to the local food bank and now I have a 1600 sq. ft. home and am completely self-sustained. This "bargain-hunting" is one of the few habits that I can be proud of.

anyway, here's what I got from yard sales this week (sorry no pictures this time). I visited about 25 and spent probably way more on gas then I "saved"...

Prince of Persia: Arabian Nights (DreamCast) - $2.00
Onimusha 2, Onimusha 3 and Teen Titans (PS2 - $5.00)
Mario Party 2, GoldenEye and Ocarina of Time (N64 - $5.00)
Alien 3 and Super Buster Bros (SNES - $2.00)

and I don't think anyone here will begrudge me being behind the curve, but I bought my first plastic guitar, a Nyko one, for PS3, unused, for $5.00. I've never played a Guitar Hero game before, but I downloaded the Fret Nice demo to play with it with. Good times were had.

Not too long ago I found a Sega Genesis Model 2 at a local flea market for $2 with one controller and no cords. Bought the cords and it works great :)
