so as far as Mega Man X4 goes, I just beat Double. He took me probably around 20 tries. WTF? I mostly sailed through the game leading up to him. Haha.

Who are you playing as?noiseredux wrote:so as far as Mega Man X4 goes, I just beat Double. He took me probably around 20 tries. WTF? I mostly sailed through the game leading up to him. Haha.
I really should replay X4-X6...
I'm still kind of possibly brainstorming a list for this myself. There are also a dozen or so games I've practically finished or gotten close to, but put them down for some reason. lol, maybe I should go back and finish all of those.

Mega Man (X). I would play as no one else.

Haha. Yeah, Zero makes those games about 10x easier... too easy.

Mario Brothers 3 keeps glitching up, it just deleted my save file of World 5! Even with the flute, that's going to be annoying. I figure I should just clean it, but I'm all out of Q-Tips.
Is it just me, or is Donkey Kong Country a pretty hard platformer? I find myself getting stuck on certain levels for a quite a while. The piranhas have caused me to rage even more than Pink Squids, Hammer Bros and Lakitu's combined!

WTF? I can't seem to beat this thing... secrets?noiseredux wrote:yeah I don't know what that is. I'm up to the boss battle in the cave where if you hit that thing when he says "hit me" then he shoots you with water... y'know?dsheinem wrote:This took me 6 hoursfastbilly1 wrote:3.5 hours into Chrono Trigger - just got part of the Masamune.

You need to alternate between physical and magical attacks, depending on the form he's using. He switches back and forth throughout the battle.noiseredux wrote:

I've loved reading this thread! Thanks for making it again Snickerd00dle!
It's so cool to see everyone's thoughts on playing through Chrono Trigger for the first time ever. Chrono Trigger is one of my absolute favorite games of all time, and I've beat it many times over the years. I may play through the DS version once I'm finished with Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls on the GBA.
As far as my list goes... I'll have to come up with something tomorrow.
