Also I somehow completely missed the sly collection being released, didn't even know about it until this thread. Might have to go snatch that up today!
What other HD collections have been announced? I know Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Any others?
Prince of Persia Trilogy (the PS2 gen ones), except... I'm pretty sure they were released DL only and each separately. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.winds wrote:Loving this news! Especially for the Silent Hill remakes. Kind of sad they're not adding any of the original psx titles with the HD boost.

http://www.neoseeker.com/news/16582-upd ... o-ps3-360/Update: Konami is using the Subsistence version of Snake Eater and "Anubis Special Edition" of Zone of the Enders for these collections, which add extra content not present in the initial release of the two games. Additionally, Peace Walker HD is the only game in the Metal Gear Solid collection running at 1080p resolution while Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater only go to 720p.
The Japanese release of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection also includes vouchers to download Peace Walker PSP and the PlayStation version of the first Metal Gear Solid from the PlayStation Network Store. Hopefully these bonuses will be offered in other regions.
Well, that's a relief.brunoafh wrote:http://www.neoseeker.com/news/16582-upd ... o-ps3-360/Update: Konami is using the Subsistence version of Snake Eater and "Anubis Special Edition" of Zone of the Enders for these collections, which add extra content not present in the initial release of the two games. Good news on MGS3: Subsistence, but no MGS2: Substance? I guess it's not that big of a deal but Substance had some pretty cool bonus content.

Damn that is a real low blow to me, that was practically an entire new huge game in itself. Had so much fun with it and all the characters.brunoafh wrote:@Xeogred
The VR missions were just in Substance, that's why I was kind of bummed too. The VR missions in both MGS1 and MGS2 were too much fun. I loved how the VR missions in MGS1 have the throwbacks to Metal Gear 2 songs (even though the first time I played them I didn't even know).
