Re: PSN is back!
So what two free games are y'all getting from the welcome back package? I'm thinking Infamous and LBP

Not sure on which PSP games, though. Maybe that Mod Kart game and LBP again. The other games just don't look that appealing.

Yeah. I've never heard of Dead Nation, I might get that and infamous, and just get LBP and Mod Nation Racers for psp. Does anyone know if the ps3 or Psp version of LBP is better than the other? Or no difference at all?Breetai wrote:Same.SwooshBear wrote:So what two free games are y'all getting from the welcome back package? I'm thinking Infamous and LBP

I liked both the PSP and PS3 versions of LBP, but actually found the PSP version to be the better of the two. They are different games/stories, also.SwooshBear wrote:Yeah. Oh. Well I think I'll get it for PSP then. I know Im going to get Infamous and LBP2 on disc eventually. I heard that you can get the levels from LBP in LBP2.dsheinem wrote:SwooshBear wrote:I liked both the PSP and PS3 versions of LBP, but actually found the PSP version to be the better of the two. They're different games. I've only played the PS3 version, which I enjoyed, but I can't really say which is better as I haven't played the PSP version. I know I've seen videos comparing the two, probably on Youtube or Gametrailers.SwooshBear wrote:Yeah. I'm getting Infamous and Wipeout HD because I already have LBP, but I would say Infamous and LBP are the fullest experiences on the PS3 out of the choices.
Modnation Racers and LBP are the best choices on the PSP in my opinion but are each slightly over 1 GB and I only have a 2GB memory stick. Don't really want to buy a new memory stick for them. I was leaning towards Modnation and Killzone Liberation which looks like a top-down run'n'gunner that's about half a GB. Supposedly it won't include the mutliplayer though, which makes it far less appealing.

Dang I didn't think about that. I use a 2 gig memory stick as well. Maybe I'll just get LBP, I don't really care about the other games

Re: PSN is back!
Having played both versions, I have to say to avoid at all costs the PSP version of Modnation Racers. The controls are too sensitive to be any fun. I guess it depends on the person I guess.

Re: PSN is back!
There should be a demo for both of them, so you can at least try before you buy.swiftzx wrote:Having played both versions, I have to say to avoid at all costs the PSP version of Modnation Racers. The controls are too sensitive to be any fun. I guess it depends on the person I guess.
I played the demo for the PSP version - thought it was okay. Nothing special, but serviceable.
Re: PSN is back!
I have everything except Dead Nation. So I'm getting that, and will see if I can grab Wipeout again as it includeds the DLC, which I do not have. People are reporting that alt accounts are working for the promo, so I should be able to grab Ratchet and Clank from the euro store and whatever the welcome back games are from the Hong Kong and Japan stores when they return.
Anyone know if you can have the PSP games added to your account from the PS3 or does it have to be done via a PSP?
EDIT: Some people on Neogaf are saying MediaGo is allowing them to grab the PSP games, so I'll try that (I don't own a PSP).
