I just lost several times to fucking noobs thanks to that GOD FUCKING DAMN WIRELESS MADCATS FIGHTPAD.

WHY DID THEY MAKE THE PS3 FIGHTPAD WIRELESS!? WHY??!?! I can't even do a single fucking move right on it. I don't have this problem on the 360 one, PROBABLY because it's a wired controller.

Man, fuck how all the third party PS3 controllers are wireless. It REALLY pisses me the fuck off.

/end bloody rage-filled rant

EVERY OTHER INPUT is being either dropped or delayed.

For example, I push back + C, followed by S to start an air combo in MvC3. Even though I'm pushing it at the same frequency, the S either gets dropped or delayed by a quasi-second, which means that the entire following combo is dropped and my opponent gets a chance to punish me.

Although I'm starting to wonder if it's lag between the gamepad or if it's lag between users. My rage is also starting to make me paranoid and think others are using some sort of lag switcher, because the game seems to run smooth as hell when they are comboing my ass, but when the shoe is on the other foot, it's like we're underwater.

This is my second MadCats fight pad. The first was bloody fucking awful and kept disconnecting in the middle of games. Why I gave them a second chance (hell, considering the MadCats fight stick which was also a waste of money, I guess this is actually a third chance), I don't know.

I really like my MadCatz stick. And I really like my wired PS2 fight pad. I'm still iffy on the PS3 fightpad myself. It had been giving me dropped connections at first. I played thru BlazBlue with it just fine though. But generally, I use my PS2 pad instead when playing online cuz the threat of a dropped signal makes me nervous with that USB dongle.

I guess I'm just going to have to buy a new PS2 pad. I had been using PS2 pads with a PS3 converter, but they've been through hell and back. I'm using one of them again because I'd rather deal with a good pad that became broken than a pad that never worked in the first place, but I'm going to have to find another replacement.

First though, I guess I should find someone willing to buy a nearly brand new MadCats pad.

Which Mad Catz fight stick? The TE ones are like the best sticks available for 360 and ps3. I have an SE one on 360. The stock buttons and stick suck, but they designed it so it is very easy to replace them with Sanwa parts. Once you do that, it's pretty good.
