Recently, a friend told me about a service you can go to, where people will sell something online for you, and take a small percentage of the profit. You walk into their store, have them sell your item, and pick up the cash. That's the way I see it at least.
I hear they auction it, package it, ship it, and pretty much take care of everything for you. This sounds good for a guy like me, who's in high school and doesn't have a credit card yet.
Does anyone know about this service? To me, it sounds like one of those eBay stores I never bothered to walk into.

Don't do it, too many scams out there. Since you are still in High School best to get your family to help set up the online sales.

Yeah this sounds like a horrible idea.
Re: People who sell things online for you
Sigh...I thought so. I was hoping for the best, but even then I felt they'd take more money from me than needed.
Thanks for the heads up though. And I can't really get my family to do anything for me right now, but I'll find a way to sell my stuff.

Why do you need a credit card to sell your stuff?Veno wrote:Sigh...I thought so. I was hoping for the best, but even then I felt they'd take more money from me than needed.

Well, I tried to sell this paintball gun to my friends and a few others for around $100, which is a pretty good deal considering what gun it is. With nobody to sell to, I have to turn to online auctions, and for that, I'll need a credit card I presume.o.pwuaioc wrote:Why do you need a credit card to sell your stuff?Veno wrote:Sigh...I thought so. Hmm, craigslist sounds in range, maybe I'll try it. Thanks guys, I got some nice inputs. But I don't think any more can be said on this topic.
