You ever try a white flesh peach? They're really good. I'm not much of a peach person myself, but I love the white flesh nectarines.

Lol, nah, I got it. I just wanted to steer it back.

edit: I'm not sure why but those jokes just annoy me. It's not as annoying as the guy that has to say "That's what she said, and then the bed broke" after everything, but I just don't find it funny. You'll be talking about playing instruments, then some one has to say "Do you play the skin flute?"

But SERIOUSLY guys, has any one tried a Honey Crisp apple?

I thought the Honey Crisp was too sweet personally.

What's funny is they were priced fairly normally at $1.99/lb through the prime of the apple season. Might have been $2.49/lb. I'm in New York, mind you, so this is a pretty average price per pound of an apple depending on the time of the year. But anyway, as the stock dwindled, the price rose to $3.99/lb and people still bought every last Honey Crisp apple. Pretty ridiculous, if you ask me. When they finally ran out, people were pissed.

I live in WA which is apple country, so maybe that's why I didn't notice that...people are weird sometimes. :D

Yeah, you're where all the apples come from! Washington state apples are the best. I don't eat a lot of apples this time of the year, mostly because they come from Peru or whatever. Not to say that produce outside of the USA sucks, but the apples are pretty pathetic and tasteless.

I've never had a store-bought apple that tasted good enough to eat by itself. I only like homegrown apples. Those taste mightily different than store apples. They're softer, too.
