Why wont DBZ legendary super warriors work on a snes gameboy player? I want to play it on the big screen not on my friends crappy gb color.

Er because it's a Game Boy Color game. You can't play Game Boy Color (only) games on the Super Game Boy. They came out after Super Game Boy did. Games that were Game Boy Color enhanced (not only) will work such as Link's Awakening DX. The way to tell is if it's a gray or black cartridge you can play it on there. If it's a clear cartridge, it's a Game Boy Color (only) game and it won't work. Plus of course GBA games don't work on it.

You can play all types on the Game Boy Player for GameCube though.

This explains it pretty well too:

And this in the last part of the Information section:

I always thought GBC games were fully backward compatible with GB and Super Gameboy. I guess I only came across the "enhanced color" games, and not the true GBC carts.
