Upcoming Game Club Games

Post by racketboy »

Just a heads-up Defender will be our first game that we feature in Together Retro.
We will be focusing on either the arcade original or the Atari port.
I hope to have the official blog post either tonight or tomorrow.

Gotta say that sounds rather interesting. I've never tried this one before, therefore it serves the purpose really well! :)

just a suggestion but you should probably switch up 'eras' every week. While I love me some pre-nes era games, I can see alot of people simply turned off by them. That way you could effectively run a game thread for a month, and keep a greater percentage of people engauged.

I know that this may not be the most popular idea since everyone already played this but... can Final Fantasy VII be the first 3D game that we play? Considering how awesome the graphics were when this game first came out, I think we could come close to re-living that feeling by making it our first 3D game. Also, I've never gotten very far in this game so I think this would make me appreciate the game a lot more!

sirkit, I'll offer as a counterpoint that many people here may already have played FF7 and may not be willing to give up that much time again for a game they've already played.

With shorter games like action titles that doesn't worry me, but with RPGs my instincts tell me to lean more toward the sleepers. That said, if there's enough demand who am I to suggest what the masses want.

I agree with Marurun... I don't need that game taking over my life again.
