Smiled - I get to buy Castle Crashers tonight for my 360 (which means a night of playing it). Gogo credit card points turning into Microsoft points.

Ticked - Found out that there is a new Pink Knight for the PS3 version only right now. No word on when it will come out for the 360. I love the games the Behemoth puts out, I just hate how they dont give out enough info. Well that and they havent released any of their games on the PC.

So what, besides Clerks, will now be available on instant watch?

Smile: Went to GameStop, found a "new" copy of Guitar Hero: On Tour for $2.99. Went to the register, and the guy says that it should've been $9.99 and that they only sell them used now. But he honored the price on the tag and made it pre-owned, meaning I got all the stuff for $2.99 with double Power-Up points. 8)

Seriously, I am getting tired of watching one of my favorite fictional universes going down the toilet. DC needs more readers, yeah, I get that. But why try to appeal to these new readers at the expense of your current ones? These constant 'crisis' level cross-overs are the reason I only read 3 books these days down from nearly a dozen back in the day, DC. And it's not like I'm alone on that one.
That, and the endless multiple series within a series left me cold to comics in general. Not to mention the $2.99 and $3.99 starting price points.

As an outsider to the world of comics, I can tell you that stuff like that makes getting into them seem like a daunting task.

Ticked: local Play n Trade let go a sales-friend of mine for absolutely no good reason other than "they felt like demoting him, and if he wasn't satisfied with it, he was free to leave." The guy has a wife and kid to support and was only working there because he wanted to be around something he was passionate about.

Smile: They also shit-canned "Bob".. Oh and I picked up U.N. Squadron and Earth Defense Force (SNES) for $5 each! 8)

flashback, (for those unfamiliar with "Bob":
Rurouni_Fencer wrote: A quick story - One of the managers at my local PnT, (we'll call him Bob,) is an ass. Bob likes to take trade ins, pilfer through the valuable games, hold them aside before customers can get to them, and buy them on Bob's payday, after his manager's discount, when he has the money. Bob, then, proceeds to hock said rare games on eBay for ludicrous amounts and make an extra profit, regardless of whether said games are already on somebody's Want List, (which my local PnT is gracious enough to offer their customers.) About two or so weeks ago, Mega Man's 1-4, & X, X2, and X3 (all CIB) came in, along with a handful of other games on my want list. Bob took it upon himself to keep them for himself before checking any lists. He proceeded to sell off the games on eBay - doubling his money, even though I, and probably other customers, were entitled to them, and would be playing those games this very moment.
I have a good friend working there who told me all of this. I was not happy. I go to PnT today and see that Bob has a stack of games he's holding for himself. I ask said friend, (who just so happens to be working his last day today,) if any of those games are on anybody's Want List. When he said no, I told him this very story and he proceeded to ring me up for ALL of Bob's games (save for a single NBA Jam cart..)

Let this be a lesson to greedy store managers - bone the customer, you'll get boned right back.
