I'd still hit it
The issue I have with Castlevania 64 is that I've tried this. I've spent the 5-10 minutes, only to get to that same part and never get any further, mainly because that jump is impossible to make. How DO you get past that second switch, where the bridge sections you jumped across lower back into the water (I'm NOT looking it up in a guide).Rurouni_Fencer wrote:It's a shame, but I really wish more game developers would take notice of this particular criticism and devote more time to the gameplay aspects of an experimental title. It's fine if you're trying something different, but don't forget that if a gamer isn't having fun, they're not going to grasp and experience what you're trying to establish because the majority of gamers will just give up and play something else.JohnBaxterly wrote:THISRurouni_Fencer wrote:They succeeded, I feel, in that aspect, but unfortunately, as is often the case with a lot of experimental games, the gameplay suffered and that's what gamers and fans remember today.
Seems like Alucard was thinking the same thingMidnightRider wrote:I'd still hit it![]()

You climb down the platforms that scale down the cliff.Ack wrote:How DO you get past that second switch, where the bridge sections you jumped across lower back into the water (I'm NOT looking it up in a guide).
Run and jump, man.Ack wrote:Problem is, I don't even come close enough to do that.
