Optimal PSP Model

Post by retrosportsgamer »

Kicking myself for trading a PSP prior to my retro-revival and finding all these great lesser known titles. I'm looking to pick up another now and noted there wasn't a guide yet on the main page. Which model number is the best for emulation? Thanks in advance.

I disagree. The d-pad is still decent. I also find that the system is more comfortable as a whole. It feels a lot more expensive too. I always thought the 2k and 3k felt cheap.

I have a 1000 and while it does everything I ask from it I sure wish it had TV out capability.....

I do prefer the feel of the fat over the slims though.

The 2000s and later have twice the ram, but I've never run into official psp games, homebrew, or emulators that had a problem with the 1000s amount of ram.

Get a 3000, don't listen to the haters. Actually, I think we can all agree that we don't care which model you get, so long as it's not a Go.
