Thinking of starting up a website, looking for recruits.

I'm not sure if it would be more of a blog than a website but I'd like to have articles up as well, maybe even some art and eventually some sort of site-related flash game. I've thought of this for a while.

Anyways, the site would be in the vein of such cult-websites such as I-Mockery, Seanbaby.com and Arch Nacho and Tortilla Godzillas Quality ROMs.

I would like the theme of the website to be 80's Thrash Metal and Retro Games.

Of course I don't have many resources so I would definetely be looking for someone to aid me and collaborate with. Although I work full time I'm not in school at the moment so I have a bit of free time on my hands and It's something I've always wanted to do.

I'd like to have a base of subjects/articles for the site to have at debut so it'd be a few months of planning and discussing probably at some free private forum that I'll create, and to start I'd definetely like to modify and transfer my Manly NES/SNES descriptions into a Non-Torrent related article.

Would anyone be interested in helping and/or auditioning and/or being my life partner in metal n' games?

I'm open to collaborating with slightly different musical tastes as long as it's not sheesh kebab like boy george, bon jovi and Poison. Or if you are merely interested in the gaming aspect of it, that is definetely welcome as well!

I don't really have the time for becoming your "life partner" at this, but I'd be willing to write a few articles for you on retro (DOS, early Windows) PC games or N64 games for your site. I know almost nothing about music except for the Beatles and Weird Al, so I can't help there.

I'm interested in writing for both the games and the music aspect. Are we only dealing with the 1980's, or are early 90's game too?

It would probably focus more on the 80's stuff but it isn't completely limited to the 80's. I think 90's era games will come into it and there are also some bands that I would like to discuss that are more recent but have a classic feel to them (Municipal Waste, Annihilation Time, Lecherous Gaze, dont feel bad if you dont know them, and im not trying to force my musical tastes onto others).

Well I'm definitely in, if you'll have me! I've written for a webzine associated with my local Play N Trade and I've been a metal/hard-rock fan for over 15 years and gaming for over 25 years. I'd love to write a bit about the thrash influence on Castlevania and its soundtrack. Also, looking at the Ys series which began in the mid-80's, the original composer was a huge fan of thrash and glam/hair. To do a piece maybe spotlighting the Ys series, and Yuzo Koshiro's work.

I'll help. I love Heavy Metal with Thrash Metal being my favorite style and have been playing games since I could hold a controller. I even got a couple ideas for a video series.
