Anyone Booking Off Work For E3?

Post by darthmunky »

I think I'm the only person who's booking off for E3.. to watch the live streams. Speaking of that, anyone know what days/times the conferences are?

Yep, I'll be streaming all the press conferences. Gametrailers and G4 have live streams and G4/Spike TV have TV broadcast. 8)

The only conference I normally watch live is Nintendo's, and that's normally on at 5pm GMT which is annoying, because I don't know whether to stay at work and watch it, or rush home and miss the first bit.
Thanfully this year I'm off for the next 2 weeks anyway so I'll be tuning in. :)

To what, enter into the E3 conference? I think it's closed off to the general public. It's mostly for people in the industry be them owners of prominent websites or writers for gaming magazines.

I thought about taking off work just to watch Nintendo's E3 stream but I don't mind waiting a while to hear the news.

I'm pretty sure we will be able to watch the entire presentation video afterward. I'll probably do that.

We live in the world of DVR, TiVo, Webcasts, and YouTube. Why would you skip a whole day of work (that's money in my pocket, for me) to watch something you can just watch when you get home?

Even if you don't have any of the above mentioned ammenities, I was using VCRs to record missed wrestling shows since the 80s.
