Read the topic. I want a good 2d fighter, I have jo jos bizarres adventure.

Then you can just play that for the next 10 years cause it's the best damn fighter out there!!!

SF Alpha 3 for ps1 is really cheap and fun....yeah yeah i know 2 is better.

Honestly, I was a big fan of Marvel vs. Capcom for the PS1, and the DC got both 1 and 2. They're not the cheapest, ranging between twenty and forty bucks from what I can tell, but they are solid fighters with high entertainment value.

I don't know what the price is but either of the domestic KOF releases for Dreamcast are great. Good replay value due to the large character roster. I prefer Dream Match since it's got a very robust set of teams.

PS1 fighters are typically inferior. SFA3 is one of the only exceptions -- the PS1 port is pretty good.
Go with Saturn or Dreamcast releases for most stuff.

None of them are going to be dirt cheap, but the most affordable will probably be the King of Fighters releases ('99 Dream Match is my favorite) and Capcom vs SNK
