I listen to retronauts occasionally and it is certainly is informative, but the hosts can be annoying at times and sometimes I roll my eyes at the opinions they present because I differ so strongly with them. I kind of wish their podcast was a bit more professional sounding personally.

It's not gaming related, but if you ever listen to the PWTorch podcast for pro wrestling, they stay on topic, they don't ramble and they never ignore their callers like they sometimes do on retronauts. I like that they can make jokes on PWTorch podcasts and yet quickly get back on topic. One thing I dislike about a lot of podcasts based on geeky or nerdy topics is that the hosts often go off on tangents, ramble or start some joke and then get derailed for like five minutes on a joke that stopped being funny four minutes ago. Some podcasts also come off as being more of a vanity project rather than just being informative. I don't care what you ate for breakfast this morning and how your weight loss program is going

I'm getting a little off topic here, but I also love The Ood podcast which is a Doctor Who podcast where they don't only talk about a weekly episode, but intersperse a variety of short comedy skits related to said episode throughout the podcast. It's impressive stuff

I listen to a lot of podcasts lately. So I'm often comparing them to see what strengths and weaknesses many of them have. Hence this sort of off topic post I guess

Just thumbed through the preview. I would consider purchasing it if I saw it at a news stand or in a book store. I'm still a sucker for print mags if they are worth it.

$11 steep price and they say official playstation magazine was expensive eventhough it had demo games or videos.

I'd like this if it was available via my iphone. I'll purchase retrogamer mags through there so I can read and enjoy on the road.

Not this shit again. We just finished talking about this.Image I'll pass; I think $11 for 38 pages is far too little, even if it is written by the legendary Jeremy Parish.

I was considering buying this after reading Noise's first post and looking at the preview, then I read all of the other posts.
So instead of considering it, I'm think I will be buying it.
I'm with Noise and think this looks like a good magazine. Plus I think it will be cool to have something that everyone else doesn't.
