But see? This is my point: I am completely okay with your opinion! It's yours and you're entitled to it. I can't tell you how many people I've seen get all up-in-arms someone else around them disagreed with their musical tastes. Funny thing is that usually the ones freaking out are the ones with horrible taste

See, this is where most arguments start: You're stating your opinion as a fact (I do realize you're not being serious), so I question its relevance, you'll be insulted, I'll explain that you don't know what you're talking about, and you'll probably throw the insult right back at me.
This is why I try very hard to make it clear that my opinion on these things is subjective. But still, I get into a lot of fights about musical preferences… I guess it's just one of those topics people love fighting about.
