The only reason why I'm mad is cuz I want my free shit. I never used PSN anyway...
Also, if the Store isn't up by E3, Sony is going to be an embarrassment.

Sony has been getting embarrassed ever since they moved on from the PS 2 it seems. In retrospect the PS 2 era was their finest hour. I like the PS 3 though. Sony may be stupid in a lot of ways, but it's really the best console and has some damn good exclusives on it. I found the whole hacker thing amusing at first, but really wish this crap would come to an end already. It was mildly entertaining to me at first if only because I was so shocked to see something like this happen and found it intriguing, but they are really just making life hard for everyone at this point. It's not just Sony getting screwed, but gamers as well

If I didn't know better, I'd think that Sony was faking these attacks on itself to discredit hacker-types like Geohot in the eyes of average gamers. Because that's all these guys are accomplishing.

from PS Blog:
Important PlayStation Network Maintenance Today
+ Posted by Eric Lempel // VP, Sony Network Entertainment
Starting soon, the PlayStation Network will be inaccessible for several hours for maintenance. The server maintenance performed at this time represents a crucial step in the full restoration for PSN, including the PlayStation Store.
During this maintenance period, users will be unable to sign in to PSN, though those that are already logged in should be able to remain online.
Resumption of full PlayStation Network service is still on track for this week in most regions.
Thank you once again for your patience as we work to return PSN to the highest level of service.

Re: Anonymous strikes again
Meh. I don't even care anymore. I'm pretty close to getting rid of my PS3. I think I'll keep it around so I can play through inFamous 2 then evaluate whether I want to get rid of it then.
Older. Not wiser.
