Not a problem actually. Japan and the US are both Region A. As long as there's an english subtitle track, you're good to go.

I looked it up and no subs on it. Oh well.

It's not uncommon to find english subs on modern releases though.

Finishing up GiTS SAC: 2nd Gig

I really don't know what's taking me so long to finish it. Maybe I'm slightly let down after the awesomeness of season 1.

Really? I liked 2nd Gig a lot more with it having a bigger overarching story in the end. But I watched them back to back pretty quickly and just loved all of it... in fact I didn't even like the GITS movies until after I saw SAC and could appreciate the characters more, lol.

....Also, I forgot to mention in my earlier post but I preordered the light novel collection of Strawberry Panic. Can't wait.

Have fun with that. It's a lot different from the anime, but I'm pretty sure you'll still like it I'd recommend the manga to you, but I'm pretty sure that sucker's on permanent hiatus.

I re-watch GITS for an hour every Saturday night via Cartoon Network. Love that show and gotta agree that I liked 2nd Gig a lot more than the first (And I REALLY hate the first season opener. Those CG animations were just.....no). The Laughing Man came off like more of a sub-plot to me, so I liked the Individual Eleven/Kuze interlocking story.

Yeah, not to mention the Laughing Man felt like it was kind of just knocking back on the ideals the movie presented (guess there's also the 3rd SAC entry, Solid State Society. Which is literally kind of like the first movie... SAC-ized, if you will. haha). But Kuze and whatnot in 2nd Gig were amazing, then of course there's Gouda...

Did you guys hear they're finally making an Appleseed series after all this time? The bad news... for me at least, is that it's going to be 100% CGI. That's not what I wanted at all.
