I need a brain trust!

To tell me what this is and what i'm supposed to plug it into.

It's a 60 pin cartridge, around an inch tall. I have no idea what it is, what is on it, or what it's supposed to run on. I picked it up at a pawn shop this morning, and they didn't have any information on it at all. I've tried searching all over for stuff about it, but can't find anything at all. If anyone knows what this is, let me know!

Famicom Bootleg Cart
Very likely some of the 72 games are just different levels, but a good find.

Considering the pins, that was my first guess. I'd be shocked if that were the case - since it's almost impossible to find imports here.

But if it is, hopefully they're not just random pictures on the front. I'd be kind of excited to see what a FC version of FF8 would be like.

Did you find anything about this online? I couldn't find a thing all day.

A PlayStation! :)

edit: I'm actually pretty interested to know what a Famicom FF VIII is like.

I deduced same as you, the pins and the cart shape. Bootleg carts were common in Hong Kong back then, a lucky find here in the U.S.

Could've picked up a FC to NES converter this weekend at a rummage sale, but I turned it down, figuring I didn't need it at the moment and i'd probably just get one in a lot someday. Blah...

Definitely a Famicom cart, although it is stupidly short. Not much value, really, since it is a clear Chinese (HK) bootleg, as someone has already pointed out. Interesting and rare find for America, though!

I paid one dollar for it, so i'm not tremendously worried about the value. Glad to know what it is though. Definitely agreed about the height, makes me wish I had a top loader.
