Soon I'm getting a Wii Hori stick (I want to mod for ps2/usb, don't really care for Wii) and I currently have a Hori Fighting Stick SS (I want to add for ps2/usb functionality)

I recall this thread, I wonder if anyone knows what Sanwa buttons will fit these sticks, Im thinking alternating themes for these 2 sticks.

I swear I've seen hacks that allow you to control a PSP using a USB controller. Can anyone confirm this is real, though? I can't seem to find anyone who's got it working.

That's not possible, the PSP can't accept USB peripherals. Most likely what you've seen are modifications to use controllers where one removes the guts of the controller and just wires the buttons of the controller to a cable which is in turn plugged into a port on the PSP wired to its buttons. When done well it looks really good, and I would assume would function very well. I've always wanted to have that done actually, it would sure make long PSP sessions more comfortable.

Hmmm, I hadn't heard of that. Well I know that the PSP can't do peripherals, it's just simply unable to do that with its implementation of USB, but if an official release did it, they must have figured out some clever way to make it work. It'd be interesting to see how they managed that.

[edit] Oh I didn't notice that you mentioned an actual PS3 as well, it sounds like they connected the console to the PSP over WiFi and had it interpret the controls and give it to the PSP. That is clever!

yeah... there's actually a hack that can get this same concept working by using RemoteJoy and a PC. The only problem is that RemoteJoy seems to hate 9 out of 10 PSP games and just crash the PSP. Now if there was some better implementation of this it would be awesome. I'd love to just plug my PSP into one of the USB ports on my PS3 and be able to play PSP games using whatever controller I wanted.
