Just out of curiosity though, why not play on PC?

The genre is usually called Point & Click Adventure because it is so heavily PC based.
I am a console collector, so naturally I would want these games on consoles. It would be pointless to make an adventure game list if I included PC, there are tons of lists of adventure games on PC on plenty of sites, but I couldn't find one for consoles and handhelds.

PSP:
Myst

It's getting a download only port sometime soon. June 16th according to Gamespot.

Am I the only person who doesn't complain that Myst has so many ports?
I don't complain per se, but I would admit I don't get why there are so many. Hasn't EVERYONE played this game by now? Are any of the ports different than the original?
I haven't.

But will soon: http://www.rfgeneration.com/blogs/noise ... e-1748.php

PS2:
Jak and Daxter 1, 2, and 3

XBox:
Oddworld: Strangers Wrath
Why did Kevin Flynn blare Journey so loud in his arcade? Was he trying to hear it from the grid?

Not even close to adventure games.

Updated the list. Anyone else know of some more? I am trying to stay away from download only, but might add later.

Alex Kidd in High-Tech World for the Master System. There are some Shinobi-ish levels shoehorned in but it is primarily an adventure game.

Added bonus: the plot revolves entirely around getting Prince Alex Kidd to the hot new arcade.

Also, L.A. Noire?

Also thought of Beavis and Butt-Head for the Genesis. There's a lot of sidescrolling and shooting stuff but the main gameplay goals are played like a find item in location x, use item in location y type of adventure game.

Like finding the dead rat behind the dumpster, frying the dead rat in the deep fryer, feeding the dead rat to the customer at Burger World to get them to vomit a piece of your GWAR tickets.
