This is a World War II themed fighting game. It's been compared to Street Fighter III: Third Strike. There are lots of combos you can do and it has some nice graphics that feel a bit like an SNK game.

Played the demo. Now on my games-to-get list.dsheinem wrote:Crimzon Clover is not only one of the best doujin shmups ever made, but one of the best shmups ever made, period. Every one who is even slightly a fan of the genre owes it to themselves to try it. Demo here: http://www.vector.co.jp/download/file/w ... 02734.html

I thought that game was made in the US, somehow...
Yeah, it's not a Japanese game, so perhaps it doesn't count. Christine Love, who created the game, lives in Canada. It feels very similar to a doujin game in style and presenation though, so I included it.NeverGoBak wrote:I thought that game was made in the US, somehow...
Marvelous game though, just loved it. The only Visual Novel I've ever played though. As a side note I've always wanted to ply Azumanga Fighter, but I could never get it to work on my computer.
I had seen some video of Eternal Fighter Zero in the past, but I haven't played it yet. I decided to track it down though after reading your post. Here's what I've found so far, for those of you interested...the7k wrote:Eternal Fighter Zero. I remember playing that game CONSTANTLY back in the day. I remember going to an anime con and seeing it played in the game room a couple of years back, and it made me squee like some yaoi fangirl accidentally bumping into Vic Mignogna - just to know I wasn't the only one who played it.

Scarlet Weather Rhapsody is a better version of that.J T wrote:Immaterial and Missing Power
If you like Eternal Zero Fighter (EZF), you should also try Immaterial and Missing Power. It's a collaboration between Twilight Frontier who made EZF and Team Shanghai Alice of the famous Touhou Project.
Immaterial and Missing Power is considered Touhou 7.5 as it takes place between the Touhou games Perfect Cherry Blossom (Touhou 7) and Imperishable Night (Touhou. It's another cute fighter with chibi touhou girls.
