Remembering an old NES game

Post by Ack »

Hey guys, got a game that I can barely remember playing about fifteen years ago on the NES, and I'm wondering if somebody knows what I'm talking about. You played as some guy with bright colored hair and overalls, and he would work his way from level to level by killing enemies. To do this, he would shuffle the floor around. You would literally pull the floor out from under the bad guys, knocking them into walls, and then killing them by shuffling the floor out from under them. Unfortunately, the floors also had a limited number of times you could do this, as you would eventually come to floors that were bolted down. Also, I think the enemies drew on the floor, but I'm not sure.

I realize it isn't much, but I would appreciate any help figuring out what this is. Thanks!

Wow. I'm curious to hear what this is as well :)

And welcome, Ack -- sorry I didn't greet you earlier!

Do you remember the perspective? Like was it top-down or a side-scrolling game?

It was top-down. The screen was the room you were fighting in, and you couldn't advance to a new room unless you had defeated all enemies. Also, if you mean the 1983 game by Broderbund, that's not it, though I do appreciate the help.

And it's cool, Racket, don't worry about it.
