Found these for $5. After I get through them they'll probably be going up for trade. Let me know if you're interested!

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
damn that earthbound is a sweet pick-up.
some recent purchases I've made that pale in comparison:
NES 2/mini with cords and 1 controller (not dogbone) - $30 at a local game shop.
F-Zero (SNES) new/sealed - $13 amazon
Super R-Type (SNES) cart only - $4 flea market

Seventh flea market of the year...
PS1 R-Type Delta €1
Not in superb condition. No manual, disc has a fair amount of scratches, and the inlays have been trimmed down to fit a regular cd case. Still, it's R-type Delta... ^^

I like that picture so much, I saved it as my desktop background. Hell, I may print out a smaller version and put it in my wallet.brunoafh wrote:Hahahaha!
edit: Dude I saved that picture. That's seriously hilarious. You should post it in the Digital Press Earthbound thread.
Shhhhh! Don't tip them off! I'm hoping for a cheap copy of Chrono Trigger to slip past themCRTGAMER wrote:That is insane. The Gamer HQ store actually has an internet link. Sheesh, the dummies don't even know what they are selling.Michi wrote:NES Earthbound $2.69![]()
But seriously, I love that place. Their business is based solely on trade ins (save for the occasional new release) and the store pretty much sells everything from the NES-PS1 era for either $2.99 or $9.99, and they usually keep the $9.99 ones behind the counter (though I have seen a couple $9.99 ones on the shelves). So, you should have seen my face when I saw it sitting there on the shelf in the middle of the rack.
If that place gives me nothing else, this find alone makes it worth it. This may well be the best find I will EVER encounter.

No worries, my lips are sealed. A shame they don't do online orders.Michi wrote:Shhhhh! Don't tip them off! I'm hoping for a cheap copy of Chrono Trigger to slip past themCRTGAMER wrote:That store actually has an internet link. Sheesh, the dummies don't even know what they are selling.![]()

I had to bite my lip to stop myself from letting out an embarrassing girlish-like squeal. I walked around the store clinging to it as if it were my own child. The guys reply when I brought it to the counter, "Sweeeet."

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
They had complete Greatest Hits copies of VII, VIII, and IX a couple of months ago. Sadly they were a little more savvy with those as they were priced at $29.99, $9.99, and $9.99 respectively. It wasn't too bad considering some ebay prices, but a little more than I wanted to spend at the time (that and my paycheck was late that monthCRTGAMER wrote:No worries, my lips are sealed. Anybody else have any requests?

Nice finds, I live in Tampa and hit up all the usual spots down here. I used to work in citrus county though, I'll have to hit that place up next time I'm up there.Michi wrote:They had complete Greatest Hits copies of VII, VIII, and IX a couple of months ago. I could still keep an eye out though. I'm curious to see if they'd price a Black Label of FFVII any higher than the GH version.
