What Playstation 1 titles have the best graphics?

Brave Fencer Musashi.

I think the game still looks great, and I love that it has a night and day cycle. I especially loved the way the game looks at dusk, just before the sun fully rises, because it looks so calm and peaceful.

The games in the original Spyro the Dragon trilogy still look really nice for 3D platformers on the PS1.

I was also thinking of this series, among others out there in the platforming genre.

Not really a hidden gem, since it's a fairly well known shoot 'em up.

Most shoot 'em ups that are polygon-based on the PS1 still look good. That includes the Ray series, G Darius, Thunder Force V, etc.

Heck, Fantavision still looks cool.

Final Fantasy VIII

I picked this over IX as it has a realistic look, compared to IX's deformed look.

In-game the character body models are fine, but their faces always seemed a bit grainy. However, the cutscenes are still in my mind nothing short of absolutely beautiful

Spyro 3 still looks pretty good. Sharp, and the textures hardly jiggle, a feat for PS1.

With all these games being mentioned it seems like the Playstation still holds up pretty well in terms of graphics. I'd be interested in seeing some bad examples quite personally.
