What Playstation 1 titles have the best graphics?

^ i love the earlier capcom survival horror game like RE series, but when this came out i gave it a shot and didnt reallly enjoy it too much.

Maybe its because im shooting dinosaurs instead of zombies ?
Or maybe because i had it with pre-render bg from playing RE 1,2,3, etc...

Did you play the first or second one (or maybe both?) ... the second one was a little more action oriented, while the first one was a bit more complex and puzzle based like the early RE's (and had some hilariously tough puzzles like those door code things). I think they're pretty good, but yeah you can't top the old RE's.

The games in the original Spyro the Dragon trilogy still look really nice for 3D platformers on the PS1.

I played the first one, i just remember going around collecting alot of keys lol. And then something happen with my memory card,...so i was like " F this shit " And no i didnt get a chance to play 2

That would definitely be pretty frustrating, maybe give it and 2 another shot though... who knows you might like them.

Also kind of funny, Parasite Eve 2 plays just like these games, unlike the first (which was like... Vagrant Story with guns or something, pretty weird).

Just more proof still backgrounds were and always will be sexy!

Yea definitly ill have to burn myself a copy and give it a go. As for pre-rendered bg, i think they really shined on the gamecube. The RE remakes on the gc is just amazingly done!

I feel the need to play this now, I loved the Dino Crisis games. There's a Parasite Eve 3 coming out soon too

Its already out, its called The 3rd Birthday and its for the PSP.

Its already out, its called The 3rd Birthday and its for the PSP.

It's decent, but very different from the previous games. It's a third person cover based shooter, you only have energy shot as your parasite powers, and you can dive into the bodies of other people. This lets you do interesting tactical things, as well as just have more overall health.

Im still blown away when I see the FMV's in Final Fantasy Origins.

But that's just playing back a prerendered movie, so it doesn't really count.

Flat shaded, so runs silky smooth. Did the trippy "I'm in a computer" look nearly 3 years before Rez.
